Michael Chekhov’s approach to acting offers the talented actor practical tools for creative inspiration.

The Psychological Gesture (PG) is the most versatile and valuable of Chekhov's many techniques that all together are his objective method. Once mastered, actors and directors can apply PG for super objective or scenic objective; for creating character, atmosphere, and dynamic; and even for the artistic treatment of a single line or a single word of text.

Chekhov's Principles of Compostion offer the actor and director another invaluable artistic approach to creating the role and directing the play or script based on objective laws governing artistic structure.

Chekhov Method Masterclass Teacher Scott Fielding regularly gives workshops in the Serbia and elsewhere in southeast Europe. He will be in Belgrade this spring to offer this special 3-day master class on psychological gesture and principles of composition in the frame of A.P. Chekhov’s, SEAGULL.

Experienced actors and directors with the ambition to develop their creative potential and professional skills are invited to register.
